The Relationship between Atmospheric Temperature and Carbon Dioxide Concentration

A very interesting paper by Prof. Koutsyannis (Universtity of Athens, Greece) has been presented at the Nov. 2024 CLINTEL climate conference in Prague, and posted in the online journal of "Science of Climate Change" (volume 4.3, link, go to page 39). The essence of the paper is that probably we might go wrong in seeing the human CO2 emissions (and increasing atmospheric concentration) as the driver of global warming; it could just be the opposite.

In that case the extremely costly CO2 avoidance and net-zero policies of the Western World could be totally wrong.

Robin Horsley made a short 8 minute video on this paper which could be a good start before dwelling more deeply into the Koutsyannis paper

Btw, I suggest you take the time to also look into the other SCC volumes, which has really good articles by scientists which do not consider climate science as settled.
